Boldin Hills is not only a necropolis; it is also a favorite vacation place for guests and residents of Chernihiv. Everyone who walks here can see the arbor that stands at the edge of the hill. It was erected here in 1911 in honor of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II, who arrived to the city.

A tea ceremony with amazing views was planned for him here. It offers a magnificent city view on the Chernihiv Podil-Liskovytsia, Desna River and the mound necropolis. It is a baroque dome support a beam on stylized metal columns. Apparently that's how visitors are set up, who in our times have called it "The Arbor of Love".
