The history of pharmacy in Chernihiv began in 1782 with the opening of the first city pharmacy.But the most famous and the largest was Isaac Markels pharmacy in Chernihiv in the 1970s. Its founder and owner was Isaac Markels. In addition to the pharmacy itself, there was a pharmacy warehouse and living premises. During the Second World War, the house was destroyed, however, it was restored, and at the same time the pharmacy was restored. The pharmacy was working until 2015.
