The Bell tower is a structure of the Trinity-Elijah monastery. The Bell tower is almost 250 years. Height - 58 meters, and from its top tier almost all Chernihiv is visible! This is monument of Ukrainian architecture of the late Baroque period. The name of the architect did not survive, but there are some assumptions that drawings of Johann Shedel were used (author of the Great Lavra Bell Tower).
The Chernihiv Bell tower has become a major landmark for travelers from Kiev, Nizhyn or Lyubech.
