Chernihiv City History Museum, the first question that arises, what will this museum be like, how will it differ from others? That is why historians, scientists, authors of the concept were invited to the Tourist Information Center. Oleksandr Antonets, the chief architect and author of the concept of the new museum, noted that this project will be different from the museums we are used to.
This is where the theme of architecture will be involved, as Chernihiv has a centuries-old tradition of building temples and various architectural objects. The concept is based on 3 historical periods: Old Rus, Cossack and Imperial. The main expositions are planned to be located on the second floor of the building.
The museum itself should be located in the building of the former post office, which is an architectural monument.
