The legend about the house with dolls

You will find this house in Liskovica, an ancient part of the city that runs from the center down to the foot of the Boldin Hills. The house with dolls is called so because of the small sculptures of female heads above the windows.

The legend of this house is beautiful and dully: the owner of the house, an old nobleman Chyriev, had a favorite daughter. The girl died young, and her father, unaware of the grief, ordered these relief images of her face and decorated with them a house.
