There are two mounds "Hulbyshche" and "Bezymenny" in the Boldin Hills. An ancient burial of a man, a woman and a horse was found in the first mound. Moreover, the man's height was at least 2 m 15 cm. And the massive equipment fit the hero. The sword weighed more than 10 kg and was 126 cm long. Other parts of the equipment were weapons. Then the legend arose that the hero Illia Muromets was buried there.

In November 1723, the acting hetman Pavlo Polubotko was arrested and sent to the Peter and Paul Fortress. According to legend, before his arrest, he secretly deposited 200 thousand gold coins at interest in the bank of England.

There is a legend that the gate is made of a silver pagan idol, which was found deep underground during the construction of the current Chernihiv College. The weight of the idol was about 50 kilograms.

An unusual two-storey estate is located in the central part of Chernihiv, on the Khlibopekarska Street. It is not called a ship just for no reason. The estate was built in 1906 by Hryhorii Ostapenko, a former naval officer.
