Legend about Tank T - 34

There is a legend in the city that several drunken men tried to steal a tank on the night of the installation. They climbed into it and went down from the earthen slope, which was filled up to make the tank drive on it. Sort of, there was fuel left in the tank, and the machinery itself has not yet been fixed.

What`s next? The first story tells that the guys were traveling long and stubborn; the police even had to open fire.
